Bow Repair & Rehair
Bow repair and rehair services are available for bows of the violin family. Cleaning and polishing the bow and lubricating the frog eyelet are included with every rehair.
We are a traditional full-service workshop because only a craftsman's insight can provide the best care and maintenance for your bows. We select the best materials for matching the particular mother-of-pearl replacement eye or slide for a historically important bow.
We use the best available horse hair.
Rehairs are rosined with premium rosin unless otherwise requested by the customer.
Instrument Repair and Restoration
The Rococo Violin Shop offers professional repair and restoration procedures for violins, violas, cellos, and basses. We select the best materials respecting both the makers' work and the traditional processes.
