The Rococo Violin Shop founded in 1991 in Prince George, British Columbia is an extension of our families business which was founded in 1975 Vann Bowed Instruments. The current studio and workshop located in the historic 'Crescents' near the Prince George Conservatory and The Prince George Symphony Orchestra was opened in 2006, and is only walking distance from downtown.
Visitors always welcome.
The Rococo Violin Shop owned and operated by Luthier Rachele Turgeon has a long tradition of supporting string education and educators. She was the first Violin Shop north of Vancouver that was adamant about setting up 'student' instruments to the same high standards as those played by more advanced players. The Rococo Violin Shop made it a priority always to use high quality strings and materials in its instrument set-up process, along with proper bows for beginners in order to achieve the best possible start to their musical experience.
The Rococo Violin Shop has always welcomed beginners of all ages. We also give annual scholarships, bursaries and donate to a variety of musical institutions and festivals within British Columbia.
